At the age of 5 - year-old parents gave it to the Sylvia Young Theatre School. In 12 years, wrote the first song. In 13 won the competition of young talents. In 2004, won Yates’s Wannabe Talent Contest, singing Marayi Carey song “Always Be My Baby.”
After high school changed a lot of jobs to save money in order to get into the recording studio. Recorded many songs, including a demo version of his album “Twilight”, the truth, it has not been published.
In 15 years, Leon recorded song Minnie Riportons “Lovin ‘You” with producer Jay Vilsom Marley, and then invited them to America.
When she realized that her musical career came down to nothing, her boyfriend invited her to take part in televezionnom show.
Her debut single, “A Moment like This” was released December 20, 2006. Debut album Spirit is due November 12, 2007.
The title of the album was announced on 3 October 2007. Lewis says she named the album Spirit because “it is my heart and soul and the voice within that says everything is possible.”

2006 X-Factor winner Leona Lewis’s long-awaited debut LP ‘Spirit’ comes nearly a year after her first single, ‘A MomentLike This’. Preceded by ‘Bleeding Love’, this release sees Lewis collaborating with a wealth of different producers andwriters (as well as the ubiquitous Simon Cowell as executive producer) including Damon Dash and Ne-Yo. The sound rangesfrom slick R&B pop to power ballads, finding room as well for a delicate version of Ewan Macoll’s ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’. Lewis herself was heavily involved in the writing process, sharing credits on several of the songs on ‘Spirit’.
